What is a Non Geographic Number?
A Non Geographic Number is one that is not associated with a geographic location, for example, an 0845 number is a local call non geographic number. Calls to 0845 numbers are charged at local rates (3.36p per minute peak and 0.85p per minute off-peak and weekends). 0870 numbers are national rate numbers and calls are charged at national rates. Calls to 0844 numbers are charged at 5p per minute. Calls to 0871 numbers are charged at 10p per minute. (rates including VAT)

What costs are involved in running a Number service?
We charge a one-off set up fee to activate your Non Geographic Number, except for certain 0844 numbers which are free to activate. The set up varies according to the type of number chosen. We do not charge any monthly or annual rental fees. If you route calls to mobile, international or non geographic calls we charge for the routing of the calls at our standard business rates. If your 0844, 0845, 0870 or 0871 number is routing to a UK land line number (eg 01 or 02 number) then you do not pay to receive calls. Calls routed to 0800 numbers are charged at 2.5p per minute excluding VAT.

Do you provide rebates for 0844 and 0871 numbers?
Yes, we provide rebates of 1p and 4p per minute for calls made to 0844 and 0871 numbers, respectively, excluding VAT. Rebates are paid on the last day of the month following the month in which the associated inbound calls are made. Rebate payments are subject to a minimum amount of £20. Should your inbound call traffic be insufficient in any one calendar month to generate a minimum rebate of £20 then the call rebate will be carried over to the following month’s rebate calculation, you will not lose your entitlement to the rebate.

Will my old numbers be affected?
No, your existing telephone numbers will current to work as previously.

How do I buy a number?
Simply log into your control panel and click order numbers, choose a number you like and proceed to the checkout.

Do you provide telephone support?
Yes, we provide email and telephone support. Please note, to make changes to number diversion, view your bill or buy new numbers you need to log on to the customer control panel and follow the instructions.

How long before my number is activated?
Usually numbers are activated within 2 hours of you placing your order. We try and process all other advanced service requests received on the same day.

Can I reserve a number now and tell you my diversion number later?
Yes. You can order your number now and log onto your control panel later to update the call routing.

Can I choose a memorable number?
Yes, note the charge for a number depends on how memorable the number is.
